The VoiceEdit

Emily tried out for the show by singing "I Hope You Dance" by LeeAnn Womack. Two coaches- Adam Levine and Blake Shelton-turned around for her. Being a country singer, she went with Blake as her coach.

With her sweet voice and charming personality, Emily progressed throughout the competition, taking on songs such as "Why Not Me?" by the Judds to "In the Garden" by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Her highest charting song while on the show was her take on the song "Burning House" by Cam, which charted at number 4 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. However, critics questioned whether she should be there on a show that had many contestants with previous experience and were much older then her. She proved that, through her talent, she could hold her own.

Emily finished second to Team Adam's Jordan Smith on December 15, 2015.
