Cee Lo Green

Cee Lo Green (born Thomas DeCarlo Callaway on May 30, 1974) is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor who came to prominence as a member of the hip-hop group Goodie Mob and later as one-half of the duo Gnarls Barkley. He has also acheived success as a solo artist and has won multiple awards including five Grammys. As an actor, he has made guest appearences on shows such as Robot Chicken and Anger Management. He also appeared in the 2012 film Sparkle, which co-starred Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston.

The VoiceEdit

Green was a coach on The Voice USA. He took season 4 off to focus on various projects including starring and producing his own NBC sitcom and working on his next solo album, Girl Power, which will be released sometime in 2013. He returned to the show for season 5 and later returned as a guest advisor during Season 8. He will be an advisor to Adam Levine on Season 15.

Leaving the showEdit

Green announced on February 18, 2014 on The Ellen Show that he will not be returning. His announcement caused shock among fans of the show.
