Blake Shelton

Blake Tollison Shelton (born June 18, 1976) is an American country singer who made his debut in 2001 with his first single "Austin". He has gone on to chart 17 hit singles and has won various awards including the CMA's Male Vocalist of the Year Award twice (2010, 2011) and even won Entertainer of The Year at the ACMs in 2012.

Shelton was married to fellow country star Miranda Lambert from 2011-2015. He is now dating fellow Voice USA coach Gwen Stefani. They recently wrote a song together called "Go Ahead and Break My Heart", which is off of his album If I'm Honest. The couple performed the song on the Voice on May 9, 2016 and have since performed it at various stops during her This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour. They later wrote another song together called "You Make It Feel like Christmas", which is off of her album of the same name.

Work on the VoiceEdit

Shelton's work on the Voice has earned him praise. He has been known to take some of his proteges, which include Gwen Sebastian and Dia Frampton, on tour with him, and some, like Xenia and RaeLynn, have collaborated with him on songs such as "Buzzin'" and "Silver Bells".
